AIBE XV (15) 2020

     The Bar Council of India will conduct the AIBE 15 – 2020 exam tentatively in the 3rd week of April 2020. An interesting feature about the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is it is not an entrance examination, but rather a Certification exam. Candidates who qualify in AIBE exam are awarded Certificate of Practice (COP), which enables the candidates to practice in a court of law in India. AIBE 15 – 2020 will be an offline based exam of 3 ½ hours comprising 100 questions. AIBE 15 – 2020 applications will open in online mode and must be filled before last date by eligible candidates. As per AIBE 15 – 2020 eligibility criteria, one can appear in AIBE 15 – 2020 only if one is registered with one’s respective State Bar Council. AIBE 15 Eligibility Criteria 2020

     The Bar Council of India sets the eligibility criteria of AIBE 15 – 2020 that the applicant has to fulfill. The AIBE XV eligibility criteria 2020 pertains to age limit, qualifying exam, and bar council registration. Only if the candidate meets all of these conditions will he or she be considered for Certificate of Practice.

  • Graduation: The applicant must have completed graduation in or after 2009 – 10

  • Law degree: The candidate must hold a law degree from a recognized institute

  • Bar council registration: The applicant must be registered with their respective State Bar Councils.

  • Age limit: There is no upper or lower age limit for appearing in AIBE 2020 exam

Also, candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category have been extended no concession in the eligibility criteria.

AIBE 15 Application Form 2020

     Exam conducting officials will release the application form of AIBE XV (15) 2020 in online mode around 2nd week of January, 2020. As part of the AIBE XV (15) application form filling process, the candidate has to:

  1. First get registered by entering details like name, gender, date of birth, and address details.

  2. Upload documents and then press on “save” button

  3. On successful registration, registration number and password will be generated and sent to the candidate’s email id and mobile number

  4. Next log-in to fill the rest of the form, including payment of application fee. The registration fee is Rs. 3500.

  5. Upload the challan, journal number, branch code and date.

  6. Submit the form and take a printout.

AIBE 15 Exam Centres 2020

 

     The BCI will conduct the offline-based exam at 44 centres. The candidate will be able to select a convenient AIBE XV (15) 2020 exam centres by consulting the list given in the table below. It is important that the candidate chooses the correct exam centre of AIBE XV (15) 2020 when filling the form, as request for change is unlikely to be entertained once exam centre allotment is made. The details of the exam centre allotted to the candidate will be mentioned on the admit card.

AIBE XV (15) Admit Card 2020

     Exam officials will release the admit card of AIBE XV (15) 2020 tentatively in the 2nd week of April 2020. Admit cards will be available in online mode only and will be issued for successfully registered candidates only. AIBE XV (15) Sample Papers 2020

     Along with reading texts and solving problem sets given these books, the candidate should also solve sample papers of AIBE XV 2020. This is because AIBE sample paper will contain similar types of questions to those asked in the entrance exam; consequently solving them would increase one’s chances of success manifold. Typically, sample papers may be solved after completing a topic or chapter, but the candidate may use them at any stage of exam preparation they want, to check their understanding of a concept, problem solving skills and readiness.

AIBE XV (15) Result 2020

The Bar Council of India will declare the result of AIBE XV 2020 tentatively in the 3rd week of June 2020. The result would be declared in online mode and can be checked by entering one’s roll number and date of birth. Unlike results for other entrance exams, AIBE XV (15) 2020 would only indicate the qualifying status of the candidate, and not include other details like section-wise and overall marks. Such candidates who qualify in the exam will be issued Certificate of Practice (COP), that will make them eligible to practice law in a court of law.
